Tabletop Scotland gathers board, card, miniature, social, Dungeons & Dragons and roleplaying events at the Royal Highland Centre near Edinburgh from 4 to 6 September.

What to expect

Visitors can use the games library and Game Finder, explore the Gateway Zone, take part in hobbycraft, browse Bring & Buy, and visit the Playtest Zone and Game Jam. The organiser divides programmed events into board, card, miniature and social sessions, D&D and roleplaying games, with exhibitors, food and drink also listed.

  • Friday: 12:00-23:00
  • Saturday: 10:00-23:00
  • Sunday: 10:00-17:00 in the main hall; 10:00-19:00 upstairs

Published tickets are £15 Friday, £23 Saturday, £20 Sunday, £35 Friday–Saturday, £40 for the Saturday–Sunday weekend, and £50 for the full Friday–Sunday run. Under-16s and carers go free. See the official ticket information for current prices, availability and terms.

Travel and access

The Royal Highland Centre is near Edinburgh Airport; the organiser directs attendees to use the North Gate entry. The North Car Park has 5,000 spaces and costs £10 per day, with a dedicated Blue Badge section nearest the Highland Hall. The organiser says its floorplan is designed for accessibility, with Open Play areas keeping at least 2.5m between tables or 1.5m between chair backs to accommodate wheelchairs and pushchairs.
